Men's Golf
Head Coach: Murry Rudisill
Assistant Coach: Barry Marple
2020 Recap:
This past season, Rudisill led the Old Dominion men’s golf team to six top-10 finishes as a team. To highlight the shortened season for ODU, senior Carter Morgan finished atop the leaderboard at the VCU Invitational with a 13-under par to lead the Old Dominion men's golf team to a first-place finish (at 28-under). Following Morgan's impressive finish, he was named C-USA Golfer of the Week. At the Monarchs annual home tournament at Kilmarlic Golf Club, ODU took a runner-up (at 22-under) finish behind North Dakota State, while two individuals in Gustav Fransson and Rasmus Konradsson took a top-five finish. Fransson posted a team-best 70.56 average round score this season, good for 51st in the nation among Division I golfers, and earned four top-10 finishes in the shortened 2019-2020 season. Adding to that, Fransson was named second-team All-Conference USA as well as VaSID All-State honors alongside Chris Ayers.
