Stephen Grimes
Assistant Director of Athletic Development
Stephen joined the ODAF in 2023 as Assistant Director of Athletic Development. Prior to joining the ODAF, Stephen was a student at Old Dominion and graduated in 2020 with a bachelor’s in Sport Management. He went on to complete his master’s degree in Sport Management in 2023 and served as a Graduate Assistant with ODU Athletics in Facilities and Event Operations. Stephen grew up in Newport News and currently resides in Hampton with his wife, Emma.
Stephen enjoys getting outside with friends, good beer and good food, golfing, traveling, and watching the New York Yankees!

I love being able to meet and work with the ODAF members who make so much possible for our student athletes and ODU Athletics. Getting to see and hear about the support system that ODU has locally and nationally is a special part of my job!
