Director of Special Events and Stewardship
Alyssa Jones joined the Old Dominion Athletic Foundation in April of 2017 as the Athletic Donor Relations Manager. Prior to working for the ODAF, she worked at the University of Alabama at Birmingham as the Development Associate where she was responsible for the day-to day-operations of the Blazer Boosters. Alyssa also interned for the ODAF in 2016 while completing her degree in Sport Management.
In her current role, as the Director of Special Events and Stewardship, she oversees all fundraising events and implements a stewardship program for the ODAF's donor base.
Originally from Stroudsburg, PA, Alyssa earned her Bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University in 2016, where she served as Captain of the ODU Women’s Field Hockey team from 2013-2016.

Defeating the top three nationally ranked teams (Maryland, UCONN and UNC) in one week as a member of the ODU Women's Field Hockey team in 2013.
