Are you an alumnus of ODU?

What is your favorite memory of ODU Athletics?
I go back as far as a kid watching Sonny Allen coach basketball games, so there are a lot of memories.  Billy Mann's tip in to beat DePaul is a highlight.  Playing pick up games in the old field house against some of the players is a highlight, until one of the women's team members slapped my lay-up back into my face!  I'd have to say though, that attending a NCAA basketball tournament game and also the inaugural football game with my two sons Steven and Kyle would be my favorites.

Why do you support ODU athletics and its student-athletes?
It provides a chance to give back to the university and support those that represent the university.  It is always good to see the large array of success across all sports at ODU.

What do you like most about ODU as a whole?
I enjoy the feeling of family and community that I experience with other ODU alumni.  Some of the fans I have known for years. Every football tailgate is like a family get together.

What makes you the most proud of ODU?
ODU was much smaller when I first enrolled.  I am very proud of how it has changed and grown throughout the years to be a large university.  I am especially proud of the engineering and business programs, from both of which I received degrees.

If you could describe ODU in one word, what word would it be and why?
Spirit - because of the enthusiasm at the athletic events and throughout the university at large.  ODU's rapid growth, both in athletics and academics, contributes to a high spirit on campus and in the Hampton Roads community.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself?
Continuing the ODU tradition, I have two sons attending ODU - one is a business major and one is an engineering major.
