Yes, I am a
proud alum, '83.
What is your favorite memory of ODU
have numerous memories...Our Lady Monarch basketball legacy was a
dominant presence with Nancy Lieberman, Inge Nissen and Anne
Donovan walking through Webb Center during my time on campus. Lady
Monarch field hockey national championship with Yogi Hightower
and spending time with friends at spirited men's basketball
games, watching Mark West and team upset victory over DePaul and a
heart breaking loss at Virginia during the Ralph Sampson years. Our
student body campaign for re-establishing Monarch football which
has come to fruition and is a reality for enhancing the university
experience and exposure.
Why do you support ODU athletics and its
the student-athlete on and off the field, developing a career path
and preparation for life's requirements requires a collaborative
effort and investment. I support Old Dominion athletics to assist
the student-athlete in achieving academic and athletic excellence
including Monarch continued preeminence in intercollegiate

Enhanced value of the
Old Dominion degree in today's marketplace.
If you could describe ODU in one word, what word would
it be and why?
"Monarch." I appreciate our university's history and optimism
for the future for which it represents.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us
have been providing investment counsel, financial and real estate
services for over 25 years. I began my career with Wall Street firm
Thomson McKinnon after obtaining my B.S. in business from Old
Dominion University. I later joined Davenport & Company LLC. I
currently am a managing partner with Tampa Bay Real Estate, the
Karides Group LLC.
