Drew Turner took over as the Assistant Director of the ODAF in
November of 2013 and was promoted to Director in 2014. Drew
comes to ODU from Duke University.
Drew graduated from the University of South Carolina where he
spent three years working in the Athletic Department for the
Gamecock Club. Prior to attending South Carolina, He played a
year of football at Elon University before retiring due to
injuries. Drew enjoys spending time with his friends and
family, golf, the beach and collegiate athletics. He is
currently pursuing his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at
Drew grew up around collegiate athletics as his father, Todd,
served as an Athletic Director for over twenty years at four
different Universities (UConn, NC State, Vanderbilt, and
Washington) and currently serves as President for an executive
search and consulting firm, Collegiate Sports Associates. Drew's
second cousin, Norwood Teague, also works in collegiate athletics
and is currently the Athletic Director at the University of
Without a doubt, Trey Freeman's game winner against Murray State
to send the Monarchs to Madison Square Garden. That is one
that I will remember for a long time.

Being a part of the ODU community at a time of exponential
