Casey Cegles, Director of Major Gifts


Casey Cegles took over as the Assistant Director of the ODAF in August of 2012 and moved into the position as the Director of the ODAF in August of 2013. In 2014 Casey became the Director of Major Gifts. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Casey grew up around college athletics as his father, Vic Cegles, has been an athletic administrator for nearly thirty years. Currently his father is the Athletic Director at Long Beach State University, while his brother Victor is an assistant athletic director at University of Minnesota.

Casey is a 2009 graduate of Towson University where he was a four time letter-winner on the football team.  After graduating, he moved to Richmond, VA spending almost three years at VCU working in ticket operations and corporate sponsorships. 

In addition to Towson University, Casey earned a Master of Education from the Center for Sport Leadership at VCU. He enjoys the beach life, fishing, running, and is a strong supporter of all professional Philly sports.

The ODU vs. New Hampshire football game.  Taylor Heinicke set numerous NCAA records while leading the Monarchs to a victory of 64 to 61.
