Athletic Development Officer
Thomas DeMarco joined the Old Dominion Athletic Foundation in August of 2017 as an Athletic Development Officer. Prior to joining ODU he played professional football in the Canadian Football League. In addition to his time playing in the CFL DeMarco also held jobs in the offseason to include; being a mortgage loan officer, accountant, staffing and real estate agent. As a former student athlete, Thomas was a member of the inaugural football season at ODU in 2009, and very proud to be a part of the best NCAA start up program. Athletics being his true passion, he is very glad to be back and looking forward to being a part of such an exciting time here at Old Dominion University.
A Native of Palm Desert, CA, Thomas earned a Bachelors in Business Management in 2010 and Masters in Business Administration in 2012 from the Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University, where he served as Team Captain of the Football team from 2009-2012.
FAVORITE REASON FOR WORKING AT ODAF
The people who work here and those who support Old Dominion Athletics are amazing. It makes it very easy to come to work knowing what you do makes a difference and people are excited about where ODU is headed.
FAVORITE ODU SPORTS MOMENT
As an alumni, seeing ODU on Sports Center winning our first ever Bowl Game in the Bahamas. My favorite moment as a player was Senior Day at Foreman Field in 2012.
