Jena Virga
Executive Director of the ODAF
Jena Virga joined ODAF in August, 2010 as the Director of Major Gifts. In October of 2014, Jena was named Senior Associate AD and Assistant VP for Athletic Development. In 2022, Jena was named the Executive Director of the Old Dominion Athletic Foundation.
She graduated from ODU in 1979 with a degree in Marketing Management and earned her M.B.A. in 1981 while beginning a career in banking.
Prior to her role at the ODAF, Jena was the Development Director of Special Event fundraising at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in Norfolk.
She is married to Andy and they have two grown sons, Andrew and Sean. Jena enjoys playing golf and tennis and is proud of her USTA 3.0 Women's Tennis National Championship!

Favorite ODU Sports Moment
The first is the Men's BB win over Villanova in the NCAA tournament back in 1995 and the second is watching Taylor Heinicke break all the NCAA records at the 2012 football game against New Hampshire.
