Prior to his time at ODU, Drew held athletic fundraising positions with Duke University and the University of South Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the University of South Carolina and earned a Masters of Business Administration from ODU. He is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and was invited to attend the 2017 LEAD1 Institute, a high level professional development program for future Division 1 Athletic Directors. Drew grew up around collegiate athletics as his father, Todd, served as an Athletic Director for over twenty years at four different Universities (UConn, NC State, Vanderbilt, and Washington) and currently serves as President for an executive search and consulting firm, Collegiate Sports Associates.
FAVORITE ODU SPORTS MOMENT
Without a doubt, Trey Freeman's game winner against Murray State to send the Monarchs to Madison Square Garden. That is one that I will remember for a long time.
FAVORITE REASON FOR WORKING AT ODAF
Being a part of the ODU community at a time of exponential growth for both the athletic department and the university as a whole. It's a great time to be a Monarch!
